Grant Writing Workshop to Support Local Nonprofits and Community Projects
Nonprofits and community organizations across Doniphan County are invited to attend an upcoming Grant Writing Workshop on Wednesday, June 10th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Troy Library.
Many impactful projects in our communities, such as playgrounds, festivals, and new local initiatives, are made possible through grant funding. This workshop offers a valuable opportunity for organizations to strengthen their ability to secure those resources and bring ideas to life.
The training will be led by Nancy Daniels, Community Vitality Specialist with K-State Extension, and will also feature insights from Renee Zwahl of the Kansas Department of Commerce, who will share information on available grant opportunities.
Participants will gain practical knowledge and skills, including:
- Where to find grant opportunities
- How to use data to strengthen proposals
- Key elements of a successful application
- Effective and practical grant writing techniques
This workshop is designed for all experience levels. Whether you are new to grant writing or have previous experience, attendees are encouraged to bring project ideas or current grant efforts to develop during the session.
