Highland City Community Fund
The City of Highland strives to find ways to enrich the lives of our community. One way is to provide healthy outdoor activities for our residents young and old. The City Park serves over 1,600 residents from Highland and the surrounding communities. The cornhole project is now complete.It was just one part of our long term goals to upgrade the City Park. Other projects include: Bathroom remodel, Concession stand paint and electrical improvements, new playground equipment and a gaga ball pit. We also want to develop the old saddle club grounds into a multi sports area for football, soccer and softball.Donate to this fund

In the last six years, Library District #1 has made great progress in upgrading our facilities. Major projects included a new building in Wathena and a complete renovation of the Troy library. NEK-CAP, Inc. facilitates the Doniphan County Urgent Needs Fund to assist economically challenged individuals and families struggling with emergent needs such as utility disconnects or short-term rent assistance. Eligible applicants may receive up to $250 of assistance when funds are available.
